VISION
Don Bosco Academy, Patna founded in the year 1973, is an Anglo-Indian, private, unaided, minority institution situated in the heart of Patna. The Mission at Don Bosco is to nurture children – to make them enlightened, educated individuals who are fearlessly articulate, caring and humane; who can seize every opportunity to learn, seeking to serve not just the community, but also the nation and the world. Don Bosco has several major strengths – a solid academic programme, a child – centered approach, a technology driven curriculum and an unbeatable ambience. The School continues to build upon its rich legacy of 5 decades.
It has always been the aim of the Academy to help students pursue academic excellence and to motivate and empower them to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. It has always been our motto to help make our students self-reliant and independent citizens. With these objectives in mind, our school provides myriad of opportunities in the form of varied scholastic activities to help our students nurture their latent talents. The school magazine is one of those platforms the students are provided to express themselves and to be young reporters, poets and writers. It allows creativity to blossom and thrive.
Our lives are filled with thresholds to cross. With each threshold that we cross, we are left with memories that we don’t want to lose track of. Our school magazine promises to be a repository of our memories that we all hold on to so dearly. Kevin Arnold said – ‘Memory is a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose.’ The magazine promises to be a canvas on which students and staff can paint their thoughts in whatever colours they wish to. With the variety and creativity of their articles , the talented staff and students of our school will surely stir the mind of the readers and take them to the wonderful world of unalloyed joy and pleasure. There is something for everyone here………
